100amp Sub Panel for Pool Equipment
I would like to know what type and size of wire to run underground from my 200 amp house panel, 50' to the proposed 100amp sub panel which will serve my new pool equipment.
Also, I assume I will run four wires. What size PVC conduit?
Confirm, 18" cover?
I will use copper wire.
What size breaker in house panel?

Here's some choices..........
50A #8-8-8-10 THWN 1" PVC
60A #6-6-6-10 THWN 1" PVC
80A #4-4-4-8 THWN 1.25" PVC
100A #3-3-3-8 THWN 1.25" PVC
Conduit I listed is actually a little larger than required for the #8, 6, and 4, but easier to pull through. 18" of cover is good for normal non traffic areas.

Thanks ray2047 & pattemp,
My pool contractor told me to get a 100amp sub panel which will be mounted on the exterior wall at the equipment pad.
That said, I counted up 85 amps +/-
1. 2 hp circ. pump
2. 140,000 btu heat pump
3. 1.5 hp spa air blower
4. Low voltage pool and landscape lighting. All led.
