Help finding a 4" square outlet box, deep, drawn, w/ ground screw bump
Can anyone provide a manufacturer and model number for a 4" square box for exposed work, no brackets, 2-1/8" deep, drawn not welded, with a raised bump on the back for a grounding screw?
It's been driving me nuts trying to find them. Seems like you can choose two of the three: deep, drawn, and bump. Crouse-Hinds TP434 showed a raised bump in the catalog, but not in real life.
I'll drill out behind the ground screw hole if I can't find one with a ground bump - and it would probably be quicker than my current wild goose chase - but I refuse to believe these things don't exist.

That Garvin one is odd because the description says raised ground but the pictures and video don't show it.
Will check for a local Topaz distributor. Thanks, PJ.
Joe: Yes, solely for appearance. Maybe I'm just a bit OCD, but the drawn boxes look more like they were meant to be exposed, vs. the welded ones.

I like them as well. Big box weren't carrying them but the my local old time hardware store does.
Try TP434

or at Graybar
Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Business TP434 Electrical Box, Steel, 4 Square, 1/2 and 3/4 in. Standard Knockouts, 2-1/8 in. Deep, Conduit - but their pic doesn't show raised ground even though that is what I have (barcode scans 0786189104349)

How long ago did you get your TP434? I picked some up, same barcode as yours, no bump. Strange.
I think I'll just use it anyway and drill out behind it. Getting to the point that I'm spending too much time and effort on a $5 part.

I think I got these boxes about a year ago. But this store could have had them sitting in the back for a decade. They don't use the bar-codes but put a price sticker on it. For some older stuff they have the price written on it with a magic marker!
From your info i should stock up as these might be all there is.
