Adding dedicated circuit for landscape transformer

I am adding a dedicated circuit to my service panel for my 12V landscape lighting transformer.

Instead of using GFCI outlet outside, could I use GFCI breaker on the panel. Is there any benefit to using the GFCI / CAFI combo breakers??

Thanks
Jan.

GFI breakers are more expensive than a GFI receptacle but in my opinion hold up better and last longer out of the weather.

You could use a combo breaker but only GFI is required for outside use.

GFCI and AFCI are two different things, but both types of protection are provided by "Dual Function" circuit breakers. I doubt you need the AFCI protection.
