Three way switch help
Hello,
My husband and I are remodeling a bathroom in our basement. I marked all of the wires(except for those I didn't disconnect) but I have a problem and need help. Here is what I have.
switch(sw1) 1 has 14-2 coming from the light fixture and 14-2 coming from switch 2(sw2) . I am not sure which is the light fixture or sw2 however the wires on sw1 are as follows. I have a white and a black on the top terminals and a black on the common terminal with the remaining white pig tailed with other whites in the box. Sw2 has 14-2 wire only with one black, one white wire, and a ground. I don't see a power source to either switch1 or light fixture so I'm guessing the power source must have been on sw2. Any idea how to get this to work again?

Welcome to the forums.
I am not following what you have there.
A picture or two would be very helpful. http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...-pictures.html
