Outdoor panel to feed Hot Tub and Welder?
I am finishing my basement and want to set up wiring for a future hot tub. I added a 100 amp sub-panel and have a 50 amp breaker with 4 conductor wire that meets spec for the voltage/run to where the outdoor panel will be.
The question is if I could use this outdoor RV panel so I could also have an outlet for my welder? Connecticut Electric Inc - 50A RV PNL W/ 20A GFCI RECPT
Would it meet code to use this to supply a hot tub and also have the outlet it provides? I would not use both at the same time and the welder really only draws 30A. Not sure about the Hot Tub since I have not picked one out yet.
Thanks for your insights on this!
