Splitting Electrical Lines

I have existing outdoor conduit that runs from my building to the garage. I wanted to split that line and go in the opposite direction to add an outdoor outlet in front of the building. Can you do this?

Yes, if we are talking a 20 amp or less 120 volt feed to the garage but simpler if the main panel is in the building is to just run either a new circuit from the main panel or connect to an unrestricted existing circuit.

What is the building? Do you rent or own?
