Loss of all electric in condo but all overhead lights work.

So my lady friend lives in a condo and she has lost all power except for overhead lights. She said she checked breaker box and nothing flipped and no gfi switch flipped either, This is a 200+ unit 18 story condo place....any ideas?

Welcome to the forums.

First thing...... check with the neighbors. Is it her problem or a building problem.

How about electric stove... working ?
A/C - heat.... working ?
How many breakers in the panel ?

Breakers

Turn the breaker off and on. Visual inspection of the breaker may not show that it is tripped.

Did she try shutting the breakers all the way off and back on again one at a time?
No electric as in just the outlets, or is it also the A/C, stove, water heater?
