Weatherproof Outlet Install

i want to install a weatherproof outlet on the outside of a shed, the shed itself contains a sub-panel inside so power will be coming from there. Not sure what is needed to get the wiring from inside to outside receptacle in terms of conduit, etc. I have some flexible non-metallic 1/2" pvc but unsure how to connect that to the weatherproof box kit I purchased (it has a couple of threaded ports but the conduit fittings appear meant for a knock out). What is typical approach in this scenaro?

If the receptacle is close to the panel..... just use cable.

The box will have 1/2" threaded hubs. That flex cable should have 1/2" threaded fittings with nuts. Take the nut off and screw the fitting directly into the box. The picture shows one type of flexible conduit.
