proper wiring of vent hood

Hello everyone,

So I plan on hooking this vent hood up as low voltage which the manufacture states is 120 volts. I am not provided with any electrical hookup diagrams whatsoever only a little picture on the motor. This is what the picture looks like:

So is line 1 my load and line 2 my neutral line.

This is a fuller picture of the motor and wires:

From what I see, it doesn't appear to actually have a neutral. It is most likely does not matter. Most AC motors will not care.
If it states low volt is 120V, it probably is 120V / 240V fan, which explains pictured wiring diagram.

Does the fan also have ground wire or screw? If chassis is metal, ground it even if it does not come with ground screw.

Do you have manufacturer's name and model number? Might be able to find more detail with that information.

I didn't think it necessary to post the other picture as it had no bearing on what the OP was asking for.

Yes...... it has a ground wire.
Yes..... it's 120/240v

Most multi voltage motors don't list a connection as neutral.
True.... the motor doesn't care. The standard listed wiring is....
Line 1 is hot and Line 2 is neutral
