Dimmer on 3 way lighting

Installed LED bulbs in the kitchen overheads. Wife thinks it is to bright. Soft white 65W equivalent, 10 watts actual, dimmable. Two switches on opposite end of the kitchen and was going to install a dimmer. I believe I only need to replace one of the switches with a dimmer? should not make any difference which one? Any recommendations as to which one to use, Seems some work ok and others not so much when I look at the specs??

You will need a 3 way dimmer switch. The other switch will only light the light based on the position of the dimmer be it bright or dim or even off.

My recommendation is to purchase a three way dimmer and it's companion control.
My personal preference is the Lutron Maestro MA/CL series dimmer.
