Suddenly no power at outlet
I'm hoping someone can help me - my dishwasher suddenly stopped powering on. Was working fine yesterday.
Here's what I know so far:
I have tested the voltage across the circuit breaker. 120V - I think this means the breaker is not the problem.
I have tested the three wires at the dishwasher. Here's what I get:
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums.
You should get 120vac from black to ground and 120vac from black to white.
You have an open neutral somewhere.
It's either loose at the panel or there is a splice/junction point in the line.

Black to white should have been about 120 volts.
Sounds like a loose neutral wire some place to me.

Thanks
Thank you both for your insight.
I'll turn off the main breaker and see if I can locate a loose neutral. If not, worst case I guess, I can probably use the wire that's there to pull a new one - it's not a long run.
Thanks.
