Knob and tube buried in fiberglass insulation
We recently found some spliced knob and tube wiring buried in the fiberglass insulation in the attic floor. We are in the process of replacing it but I'm curious if this set-up is safe. I thought that knob and tube wiring buried in fiberglass insulation was a fire hazard.

Welcome to the forums.
By code.... the K&T wiring shall not be covered by insulation. Ir must be allowed to cool.
What are you replacing... the insulation or the wiring ?
