Need advice on power for motor

I have a chance to acquire a EBM-Papst fan, model M3G150-IF27-06. It runs on 380-480v, 60Hz three phase, drawing a maximum of 4.9amps. This is a LARGE fan, about 32" in diameter, from a computer room rooftop condenser. Here's a link to a similar model:

I'm looking for an economical method to power this on 120v or 240v single phase. Is there a VFD that can create three phase with a voltage boost, or should I just scrap the whole idea? Any ideas welcomed!

I think the cost would be considerable vs just getting a 120 or 240 volt fan.

I would scrap the idea. You would be better off buying a single phase fan, likely 120 volt, and can do the same job without spending $200-500+ on a transformer and a phase converter.

What are you thinking of using the fan for?

Thanks guys. This monster fan was removed from service at work, and I was looking at the possibility of using it as a whole house fan, because it's very quiet. From the start, I figured it would be cost prohibitive, so I guess I'll just let it go...

That's an expensive and top quality motor. Sell it and get something you can use.
