Installing outlet inside medicine cabinet
I'm remodeling my bathroom and installing two recessed medicine cabinets. I want to put in a couple outlets inside the cabinets to hide chargers for various things. The problem is I was going to frame out the opening like you would do for a window, but I don't know how I'd get a box in there. The wall is an inside 2x4 wall so I can't come from behind. Any advise?

If the wall is a 2x4 thick, there will not be any room in back once the recessed medicine cabinet is installed, because it completely, fills the space in back as well as the sides (usually). I believe you would need to bring the supply up from the bottom, measure, mark, and drill your hole in your cabinet, then snake the wire into your recessed cabinet as you mount it, and then use your surface mount box.

Use something like what PCBoss mentioned: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Eaton-15-Am...Duplex/3608800
Or you could buy a medicine cabinet that already has a receptacle installed.
