Circuit runs through garage?
I am running new circuit runs for remodeling my bathrooms. Originally all the electrical circuit runs from the main panel go up over the roof trusses between the slats that the original shake shingle roof nailed thru. Shake roof removed and added new sheathing with composite singles on top of that. This does not seem like an ideal situation as anyone nailing in the roof or adding shingles on top could easily penetrate a romex cable.
Adding new circuit runs I would like to run them stapled along the bottom of the roof trusses over to the attic area. Is this allowed by code. Or do I need to drill thru each truss and feed the cable thru it, if so how many cables are allowed per hole?

Sounds like the cables are following the sheathing and that is a less than ideal installation.
Running the cables along side the bottoms of the trusses is considered a protected way to run cables.
On edit: I don't see trusses there.

You are not to drill holes in truss. When you say bottom, are you talking about the bottom of the bottom cord where normally sheetrock or such would be attached for a ceiling?
Boy I type slow. I see you added pictures.
That's not a truss roof. You can run the cables along the bottom of the roof rafters.
