Tesla EV charger

I've been installing a number of smaller EV chargers and they're pretty straight forward.

This Tesla charger has settings from.... maximum output: 80A, 72A, 64A, 56A, 48A, 40A, 36A,
32A, 28A, 24A, 20A, 16A, minimum output: 12A.

Based on the code...... I will need a disconnect on this charger if I power it from a circuit breaker larger than 60A. My customer is not sure what charging rate he wants but needs a price.

NEC: "625.23 Disconnecting Means. For electric vehicle supply equipment rated more than 60 amperes or more than 150 volts to ground, the disconnecting means shall be provided and installed in a readily accessible location".

Any comments ?

Readily accessible disconnect - The breaker in the panel should count. Doesn't say within site or otherwise specify a distance. Have to get a breaker lock-out, though.

Looks like it got moved for 2014 and moved again in 2017.

If the charger has a plug on it I believe that qualifies as disconnect.
