should I replace this romex?

I noticed some of the wiring in my basement was added later than the original. One of the romex wires were mounted with non insulated metal staples. One of the staples was pounded in too hard and smashed the wire. I pulled that staple out and checked the wire. The outer jacket of insulation on the romex was stretched but unbroken and not torn or pierced. As long as the outer jacket is intact should the wire be safe?

The copper internally could have been misshapen somewhat but just because the copper is a little flat and not perfectly round, it'll be fine. There's a layer of insulation on the wire inside the outer jacket too that'll help insulate the wires from each other.
