Half of the outlets in my office do not work
This is becoming frustrating. There are four wall outlets in my home office. Two of the four went dead a few weeks ago. Also the light switch in the bathroom next to me and the light in the hall outside the office.
Here is what I have done:
Replaced the two wall outlets and light switches
Checked the GFI, it is in one of the bathrooms up stairs.
I bought a Tacklife to check the outlets. Big surprise the to non-working show dead and the outlet I thought might be feeding the rest of the circuit showed correct.
Any suggestions will be REALLY appreciated.
Thanks!
Brian

Yes, I replaced the good outlet and made sure the wires were screwed in. Did the same with the other outlets and wall switches I replaced. I also took off the wire nuts, unwound them and used new wire nuts.
Equipment:
Voltmeter
Tacklife outlet tester

Hi, have you checked the fixture? Pull the fixture down and see how many cables are in the box, DO NOT BREAK ANY SPLICES , just note what is there, maybe a pic or two.
Could be a loose splice in there.
