What is the code for CFCI receptacles as far as how far they have to be away fro a water source? Do all kitchen counter receptacles have to be GFCI?

All kitchen counter receptacles in a dwelling are required to be GFCI protected regardless of their distance from a sink.
In other locations, GFCI protection is required for any receptacle within 6' of a sink.
There is a lot more locations that require GFCI protection so if you need more info please ask.

All outlets serving the kitchen counters must be GFCI protected. There is no specification as to distance from a sink or water.

Hi, Contractor Pack? not every outlet has to be a GFCI, 1 GFCI receptacle can be used to protect several receptacles on the same circuit.

Or the breaker could be GFCI as well.
It's actually not a good idea to have multiple GFCI protection on one circuit so if you do put in multiple GFCI receptacles, make sure each is being fed from the Line side of any previous one, not the Load side.
