Kitchen island outlets from floor

Hi, I have a floor box thatís been pre-installed with wiring and no outlet in a concrete floor. Im looking to install an island over this box in our kitchen with two outlets at either end of the island. I am planning on running the flex conduit from the floor box to the outlets but canít figure out the connection between the conduit and floor box or if this is the proper way to go about this. Any insight would be appreciated!

Get a flat cover for the floor box, and if it doesn't have a knockout, drill one to accept the conduit fitting. A step drill works pretty well for this job.

Another option if you have room is to put a box extension on the floor box and a flat cover on that. With a box extension you can install flex or solid conduit into the sides.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Steel-Ci...-25R/206459291 as an example. Get the shape and size you need to fit your floor box.
