3/4" Raintight Compression Connector with Extra Long Threads?

I got a "standard" 3/4" Raintight Compression Connector from a big box sore.Unfortunately, the thread is not long enough to go though my shell, and reducing washers. I beleive the thread is about 3/8" long.

I found this:
https://www.bptfittings.com/store/3-...g-threads.html

Is this a standard or rare special order part?

You could extend it using a chase nipple from the inside of the box and a short threaded coupling to connect between the chase nipple and connector.

In 45 years in the trade I have never seen one with extra long threads. I would guess a wholesale house COULD order a box but your going to pay for the box and any special shipping.

Cut the conduit back, use a standard connector, then a rigid coupling and a piece of 3/4 all thread pipe for the connection. I am sure you know this, reducing washers are not waterproof.

@Tolyn Ironhand. I think this works.

Actually, I need a similar solution for attaching a 90 degree flex connector. It is above the garage ceiling and needs to clear drywall.
