No power to bedroom

Alright my mom's house was built in the mid 60s and has no GFCI outlets anywhere in the house most of the outlets are still the old style two prong except for where three prong outlets were needed and replaced one of the bedrooms had one of those wax cube melters when the bulb blew it killed power to the room but didn't trip a breaker what could be the problem here?

First, even if the breaker doesn't look tripped turn it completely off then back on. Sometimes breaker trips but the lever on the breaker doesn't move much so it still looks like it's on even though it's tripped.

If resetting the breaker doesn't fox it then you have a loose/open connection somewhere on the circuit.

I agree with the other guys, make sure the breaker truly is not tripped and something is no longer connected. Sometimes it takes investigating a little longer
