3 switch install

I am adding a bathroom exhaust fan to the master bath going from a 2 switch [outlet, light switch] to a 3 switch [outlet, light switch, exhaust switch] and am having issues with installation... I've tried and the power goes on but there's no power to turn on or off, think I have the wiring all wrong. Can you help or provide a diagram of how to install.. not sure how to attach photos but.. all grounds are together and in the box I have a black/white power wire at bottom of box.. left is black and white for outlet... middle is black white for exhaust fan.. right is black white for vanity light... on left I want the outlet box.. middle I have a regular light switch (ground, top and bottom wire inserts) and same regular switch on the right side. I've tried to connect all black wires and white, power comes on but switches dont turn on/off (recommended by guy at menards).. please help app I dont have to hire someone, although wiring is very complex

Connect all the whites together.
Connect power black, receptacle black and two short 6 inch pigtails.
Connect one pigtail to each switch.
Connect fan black to one switch.
Connect light black to other switch.

Connect all grounds.

All switches should be grounded.
