Good day,
I am confused so much right now, I have an electrical oven in my place, the electrician came to replace the switch with one that has an indicator light, now, when I switch my oven off at the DB board, the indicator light dims but does not go off, when I turn on one of the hotplates, the indicator light on the wall goes off, but there is no power to the hotplate, shouldn't this indicator light go off when I switch it off at the new wall switch or at the DB board?

Welcome to the forums from South Africa.
You should put non US in your bio as this is primarily a North American based site.
You should have 230vAC 50hz power.
You'd probably have to post pictures or links to what you have there. If your ovens are similar to other European types.... there may be multiple shut offs to them.
