IR 2131 impact wrench rebuild gone bad
This may not be the place, but I have attempted to rebuild an IR 2131 air impact gun.
Put in all the new orings, etc, and reassembled. Trigger lets air in, but it does not spin, forward or reverse, air just exits bottom of hand grip.
Took it apart and it all looks correct.

Welcome to the forums.
Just springs ?
A rebuild kit will usually contain bearings, motor vanes, gaskets, o-rings, throttle spring, inlet parts, anvil socket retaining o-ring and c-clips.
The carbon motor vanes are semi critical for best performance.

You need clearance between the rotor and end plates. 0.001 to 0.0015. Did you use a shim when you pressed it all together? If the rotor bites into an end plate, nothing is going anywhere.
