Paslode nail gun help

Hi people, I really need some help here because everything everyone has told me doesn't seem to fix my problem, and I am really out of ideas. When I fire my gun vertical it will fire a nail, and keep firing nails no problem, but when I give it back to my mate who's a roofer and shoots with the nose pointing down, it refuses to fire or anything. It's a 900420 Paslode nailer and I have cleaned and stripped it all down including taking the piston out, lubed it all correctly and everything seems in order. The green light is flashing and I have a spark, sorry the fan does kick in when trigger is pressed but nothing comes out of the end, no nails, not even the indentation the firing pin usually leaves. Can anyone help me out please? Thank You

Welcome to the forums! This is a 2 year old thread and you should have your own thread, so one of the moderators will probably move this to its own thread where you will get more attention.

You probably have a unit with a defective battery pack. Some of those guns had batteries that are a bit too small and when fired a certain direction the shock will disconnect the battery from the contacts. If you push on the battery while firing and it works fine, that's your problem. I know of no fix other than a different battery, but you could call Paslode and see what they suggest. I'm sure they have a number on their website.
