Air Compressor Motor Repair

I'm trying to repair my CH air compressor. It's 13gal horizontal. About 20yr old, so not a big loss.
It got extremely noisy couple weeks ago. Removed the little belt so only the motor turned - still loud.
Ah-Ha. I assume it's either a bearing or, well, a bearing. Thought I could replace the bearing, but I can't get the motor separated from the pump. Tapped on the shaft, but wouldn't budge. And yes I removed those 2 long screws.
Anyone repair one of these motors? Is the "pulley end" bearing pressed into that cast housing? Is it pressed in from the 'outside'? Necessary to remove the drive pulley first?
The motor/pump is sold as one unit. About $100. Why I'm trying to repair it.

Campbell Hausfeld compressor motor.

From my experience the outer bearings are pressed on to the shaft at the piston, and (yes) the inner bearing is pressed into the casing. Possibly any generic bearing puller or press will do the job.

Hopefully I helped, just by guessing since I don't know the model.
