Can my Angle Grinder accept 4-1/2 in. Diamond Turbo Cup Wheel?
Hello all,
I purchased HF 4-1/2 in. Diamond Turbo Cup Wheel Warrior® - Item#61419 and my Angle Grinder is Hitachi G12SR3 4-1/2".
I need to install the Turbo Cup Wheel to my grinder but I just realize it may not fit my machine.
Can someone take a look the attached pictures and tell me whether or not the wheel fits my grinder?
After installing the cup wheel, I am not able to install the Outer Flange to lock the wheel.
The HF cup wheel does come with a place where I can tight it up but I am not sure that is safe.
Thank you

You need to take the bottom washer off. The cup wheel just screws on. Don't over tighten it either or you may have a hard time getting it off. Just snug it with your hand... not as tight as possible either.

Hello,
I just followed your instruction and installed the cup wheel.
May you take one more look and help check whether I did it right?
Thank you

You don't need a nut on top. The cup wheel just screws on. You spin the cup wheel on just like I said... and don't over tighten it with your hand.

I have a fair amount of grinding to do on a couple of current projects and have never tried that wheel type.
Give us a review of how it works for you.
