Finish nailer shoots nail then another nail follows
Just got the Dewalt DWFP72155 air finish nailer and the 2" 15 guage finish nails DWFN1532-1. Set compressor and tool as instructed. Noticed after I went through the sample nails they provided and into the bought package mentioned above that the tool acted oddly. First and foremost is that after putting in a nail, another nail falls out of the nailer. It's not blown out, it just falls out. And, there is way more jamming now. Anyone come across this, have a solution? Thanks.
Just wanted to add that it is going into rather soft wood core of engineered hardwood installation.

The DWFN1532-1 are FN nails and they are for a Bostich gun. Should say so right on the box.
The DEWALT DWFN1532-1 T-shaped finish nails

- Fits Bostitch tools N59FN, N60FN and N62FN (sold separately)

Upon further review... yes, I have the bostich nails instead of the dewalt nails even though they are in the yellow and black Dewalt box with only a small mention of the bostich name which I did see but assumed (there's that word again) they worked with both guns since they are made by the same company. Any way, thanks for the heads up! Anyone looking for a slightly used box of Bostitch nails????? wink wink

I can't say with 100% certainty, but in general any brand DA nails will work. Most guns use DA nails... Senco, Hitachi, Dewalt, etc. Bostich nails (and pretty much only bostich) are FN. Generally you just need to read the label.
