hammer drill

are there any spade bits that make a hammer drill into a non rotating hammer tool?

Hi, I think the drill makes the switch not the bit, what type of drill do you have ?

I think you may be thinking of an SDS Hammer drill. These come in SDS-Plus or SDS-Max formats (bit diameter).

The rotary hammer to simply a hammer is a function most of these SDS drills have. There is a switch or dial.

A normal hammer drill does not generally do this
