Table saw arbor, Has a bit of play.

So I have a bigger Craftsman contractor saw that runs great I keep a nice 10 inch blade on it for most of my heavier cutting. I use a small sears lightweight direct drive saw i keep in a shelter outside for most of everything else. Although it can handle a 10 inch blade i use an 8 inch thinner blade which makes cutting small pieces a bit safer and comfortable. I believe i have heard it said to taming down your saw? However I recently noticed a small bit of play in the arbor. I haven't really did any exploring yet, I thought i would ask if any body knows of an adjustment for that kind of side ways play ?
thanks all

There is no adjustment in a bearing that allows end play.

I agree.
If this is a belt drive saw the arbor bearing would need to be replaced.
Some nearings are permantly pressed into the arbor and some can be replaced.

Just make sure the bearing has not spun in the arbor.
