Recommendations for Inexpensive Floor Jack

My truck is a Tacoma, 5000 GVWR.
Need jack mostly for brake jobs and other miscellaneous under the car projects. My old jack is leaking all over the garage floor. Buying a rebuild kit? Have no idea what the brand of my old Chinese jack is.
Thanks in advance.

So this falls into the buy cheap and replace category vs buying quality from the start.

Your working around/under a vehicle with cheap China crap, your life is worth more. How many got hurt using cheap HF jack stands.

I have 2 HF floor jacks, one is a 2.25 ton that lasted 20 yrs before I rebuilt it and then got another 5 yrs or so out of it. Several yrs ago I bought a 3 ton HF jack, the first one tore up in the first week, it's replacement has been trouble free.

I would imagine many are made in china now though would just shop around see if you find one you can afford you should never be under a vehicle that is only has a jack supporting it you need jack stands also if you do not have any.

My Harbor Freight jack is approaching 20 years old with no issues - I'd buy it again.

I found a nice one at Northern Tool and Supply. Now their stuff I would trust, and about the same price as HF. Thanks for inputs.

For what it's worth...

This guy does some interesting (though not always scientific) testing on stuff. He just did this one on floor jacks a week ago.

That ZSP brand...Yikes!
