Multiple 6160RF's on Vista 20p?
I am getting ready to replace my entire alarm system as lightning struck and took out the control board a few weeks ago. I currently have a Vista 20p with 6160 keypads. I am planning on replacing the 20p with the same but want to add wireless to some windows on several floors. For this I will be upgrading at least one of the keypads to a 6160RF. I am a bit concerned that some of thw wireless sensors may be out of range of the 6160RF so I was wondering if it is possible to use 2? Does anyone know the answer to this?
Thanks,
Andy

6160 and 6160rf Keypads
Hello. Not to hijack this thread, but I'm a newbie installer and have a questions in setting up the 6160 and 6160rf keypads as well. Can someone help.
I installed both 6160 and 1660rf keypads to my vista 20p panel. I know how to change the 6160 address but not sure for the 6160rf keypad.
Which keypad should address to 16?
If the 6160 keypad is set first, does the 6160rf keypad should be set to next address 17 or 00?
When I looked at the 6160rf programmer guide, it asks for con address, rec address, and house ID. What's the difference between con and rec address and what house ID is needed?
Thanks in advance for any guidance or help.

It doesn't matter which keypad has which address, as long as they are different from each other, and the order that you configure them doesn't matter.
The CONsole address is the base keypad address. That's the one you need to change.
On a Vista 20p you leave the receiver address at the default (00), and the House ID only need to be messed with if you are using bi-directional devices (like a wireless keypad).
