I have a DSC alarm system and want to install sensors that detect window breakage. Is this possible to diy?

You would probably want a wireless sensor mounted on the ceiling of the room. Google DSC wireless glass break sensor.

Thank you. Is this something I can install myself or need a pro?

What is the model of your DSC system?

Do you already have existing wireless devices?

If you don't have existing wireless capability, do you have an unused hardwired zone?

Do you have the installer code to access system programming?

It's quite impossible for us to know what type of system you have and what your abilities are. If you can follow directions, try the instructions on this page, which should help you determine if your system is wireless compatible or not, and describes the wiring needed..

I'll check on the model and other info tonight but I do have the RFK5500 Keypad.
