Safewatch Pro custom 2000 Morse code beeping!

Hey all, moved into a house that had ADT at some point. I don't have any codes, I do see two key fobs resting on top of alarm wiring box in closet. Anyway, randomly, the keypad will start beeping like Morse code and won't stop until I press a button on the keypad. It makes a chime, like a door is being opened (it's not) and then goes crazy. Tonight is doing it a lot! Typically it happens only a couple times a year.

Any tips? I noticed the battery (small black box in the wiring panel) is not hooked up and the keypad has said low battery for years. If that makes a diff at all.

Appreciate insight!

If you are not using the system, why not just disconnect the power going to it?

More than likely some component has had an issue, like a low battery on one of the wireless transmitters, and the system is trying to alert you to that fact. If you are not using the system, simply take the wire off of the first terminal on the left on the motherboard, and put a wrap of tape on it. That will kill the power, fully.
