Smoke detector audible requirement

AHJ's require all smokes to sound during an alarm, not just one.

Does anyone know how to get a Vista20 to comply?

Whether it is through 2-wire or 4-wire smokes [preferably 4-wire]..

It's not the Vista that is the problem..... it's the wiring.
Two wires for the detector and two for the audible.

This explains it pretty well. system sensor/i3-Series_DataSheet_A05-0348.pdf

I know with Bosch.... we use six wires.
Two for activation.
Two for power.
Two are for the sounder base.

You can do this with the System Sensor RRS-MOD and System Sensor 2WTA-B detectors. You will need to get approval from the local AHJ, though.
