Question Honeywell TUXEDO and network video recorder

Hi, newbie here... I am building a house and struggling to get answers around some compatibility issues, etc.

I want to use the Honeywell Tuxedo Touch (TUXWIFIW) with the Vista-21iP alarm panel and 8 security/doorbell cameras.

The Tuxedo appears to have limited video recording capability so I would like to have a network video recorder like the Honeywell performance series PoE NVR (HEN16162) to store the video streams.

Has anyone used an NVR with the Tuxedo Touch and what do I need to be concerned with when purchasing the NVR and cameras so that they integrate to the Tuxedo.

Thanks!
Aimless

You already made the smartest call in staying in the brand family. That tends to smooth out bumps.

It should work just fine. The Tuxedo, in this instance, is pretty much a tablet with a dedicated app. The NVR would be accessing the camera streams independently of the Tuxedo.
