Concord 4 and IPDataTel WIFI Bat
Hi,
I need advice on how to wire the IPDataTel WiFi BAT to my Concord 4 system. It's only going to be used for simple monitoring. Looking through the manual, I found two ways of wiring it. TIP/RING/RED/BLACK (generic) and POS/COM/DATA/TIP/RING (GE).
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!
-Dave

Although the Concord 4 is listed as compatible, I find no specific wiring diagram. Your safest bet would be to call IPDataTel tech support. I'm not familiar with the WiFi BAT (retired over 10 years) and don't want to "toast" anything.

I just received a reply from IPDataTel.
Terminal 1 -> Tip
Terminal 2 -> Ring
Terminal 3 -> Positive (Keybus)
Terminal 4 -> Common (Keybus)
Hopefully this can help someone else!

I was looking into the keyswitch wiring. I thought you wanted to control your alarm too.
Looks like you're all set.
