While never being very handy before I have installed a few ring cameras around the home. While they are up and working I am having a real pain in the butt trying to run the wires along the stucco wall. 1 wire is a thin flat cat6 ethernet that I tried to run with the wire clip glued to the stucco with liquid nails fuze it. The stuff detached from the plastic clip after drying. We've also tried drilling along the soffit edge but can't seem to penetrate the stucco along the edge even with a masonry bit. I'm trying to find a solution not too difficult without damaging the stucco. I need to run the 1 ethernet wire which is light and 3 heavier electrical cords. (2 ring wired camera and an outside extension cord). A coworker recommended cable staples but I'm afraid of damaging the stucco if I try to hammer it in if the drill isn't going in. Maybe I need to go lower along the wall? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, Ground inquiry..... I have a Vista 20p with a Honeywell 4220 expander. I plan on using the built in relays on the Honeywell 4229 expansion board to drive as trigger input signals to an Arduino. The Honeywell 4229 is powered by Honeywell AD12612 auxiliary power supply and also has a jumper ground wire from terminal (DC -) to terminal 4 on the main 20p board. The Arduino will have a separate power supply. I will be using the Normally Open and Common Terminals from both relays on the 4229 to complete a low(ground) trigger signal from the Arduino. My question is do I need to somehow tie a jumper ground from the Arduino to the 4229 Expansion board or/and to the main 20P main board? Is it even needed since I am only using the "switching side" of the relay? In the future, I also plan on possibly utilizing the 20p's onboard output 12v triggers to energize a 12v relay which will then also probably have the Normally open and common leads connected to an Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Will I need to tie ground together from the onboard to the Arduino or Raspberry Pi as well since this is actually outputing 12volts from the onboard? Thanks for your help.
