Over-door sensor - Set-off by leaves

I have the below unit(s) installed, but do false-alarms when leaves pass. What other units of the same would be a better choice?

Optex now brings the benefits of its advanced wireless technology in the form of greater RF transmission range with the new Wireless 2000 driveway and entry announcer. The system can be installed anywhere easily and quickly with no wiring and now allows for 2000 feet line of sight transmission range. Whether it is for home or business, indoor or outdoor, the Wireless 2000 is the ideal choice for perimeter awareness and wireless remote control. Wireless 2000 monitors your property 24 hours a day to detect approaching vehicles and people, giving you time to prepare. It works as a convenient wireless switch for activating a variety of electric equipment (e.g. doorstrikes/magnetic locks, lights, sirens, motors). Setup is simple! Just two buttons perform all set up functions. Transmission codes are preset by the factory with over 8 million possibilities, virtually eliminating the possibility of interference or crosstalk.

The Optex RCTD-20U "Wireless 2000" is a long-range and reliable wireless annunciator system provides motion detection alerts when someone enter a door, provides announcements with someone drives up a driveway or provides perimeter awareness when someone comes onto your property. It is ideal for both home and business use.

The Wireless 2000 two main parts: an outdoor-rated PIR motion detector, and a wireless Chime Box receiver that can hold up to 9 detectors and chimes when the sensor detects motion. The two devices can communicate with each other up to 2,000 feet (line of sight). The RF receiver also features a Form C relay for activation of a variety of electronic equipment.

No more surprises! Wireless 2000 monitors your property 24 hours a day to detect approaching vehicles and people, giving you time to prepare.

No more missed visitors or deliveries! Wireless 2000 serves as a welcome chime or perimeter alert for your home or shop.

No more hard to reach switches! Wireless 2000 works as a convenient wireless switch for activating a variety of electric equipment (e.g. doorstrikes / magnetic locks, lights, sirens, motors).

Sensitivity issues vary depending on the particular use and situation and I suspect yours will be similar. Some people use sensors at doorways and don't want false readings every time someone walks by 25' away while others have a 200' driveway and need sensitivity at a distance.

My advice to you is to find positions for your sensors that minimize false readings or look for a less sensitive unit and be mindful you may not have the sensitivity you desire.

What is it you are trying to do or protect.
Your post looks like an ad for Optex.

You wouldn't use a driveway monitor over a doorway.
