Enforcer Photobeam for Perimeter Detection

I have the Seco-Larm E-960-D190Q Enforcer Twin Photobeam Detectors. I have them my front fence line that spans 160'. I have a drive way going down the middle. I was wanting these to detect motion along my fence line and vehicles that enter my drive. I can get this set up to alarm me with a door bell when I am home, but I would like to get this to alarm me through my phone when I'm away. I'm sure I need a Gateway and an app. I already have Lorex Security App, MyQ (Liftmaster Gate Opener). I'm sure this can be pieced together somehow.

Lorex is for camera systems.... correct ?

Does the gate operator have provisions for a door bell button.
Is the gate operator in your wifi network ?
Post the model number.

Liftmaster LA-400 gate opener. Yes, the gate opener does have wifi and is operated through my "MyQ" app. It would be ideal if there was a way to connect to one of the contacts on the control board.
Yes, Lorex is the camera system. It does not cover this area.

I don't see the LA-400 as myQ capable.
Do you have an extra module or is there more to the model number.

Yes... I have that.
I don't see any wifi program or set switch there.
I don't see any mention of myQ in the installation book.
I do see myQ listed for other 400 series units.

I haven't worked on one of those yet that has wifi access. I would expect to see some type of external antenna as radio signals don't travel well thru a metal enclosure.

I will have to add the 828LM Liftmaster Internet Gateway to get the gate to work with MyQ.

What you are needing is something that can take the dry contact closure (or open) from the relay on the photo beam, and send it to you via an app. I don't see any thing for Liftmaster that will do that (it would be labeled as an "annunciator" input, or something similar.)

It would be fairly trivial to do it with a zone input on a hardwired intrusion alarm that you could work via something like the Envisa-link app. If your Lorex DVR has contact inputs, you may be able to do it using that, if it's a model that can throw an alert from an input.
