Need help with NX8 programming

I would like to know how to set the timer test to weekly. I do know it requires setting the panel in location 51 (S01-04): 0 for days, then 7 for interval, then the hour and minute and additionally enable location 37 (S04). The problem I am having is the keystrokes and what shows on the keypad screen.

I think at some point the screen might show something such as:

Location [37] Seg # 2
1 _ _ 4 _ 6 7 _

which would indicate toggling on/off various items then tap * to save, then 'exit' a couple of times to leave programming, but not positive.

Thank you.

Which version of the NX-8 do you have? I show the test timer programming in Location 51! Location 37 being SIREN AND SYSTEM SUPERVISION.

On a NX8V2 autotest is enabled by turning ON option 3 in the 4th segment of programming location 37. You step through the segments by pressing *.

When you are in the right segment it is just a toggle by pressing the corresponding number key,

Thanks for the responses.
So for instance, turning on a weekly timer test for 2am would be:

Location [51] Seg# 1
0 7 2 0 _ _ _ _

( to set the interval and time )
and,

Location [37] Seg# 4
_ _ 3 _ _ _ _ _

( to initiate the test )

Correct?

In location 51, press * after each segment entry (it's essentially the "enter" key). But otherwise, you have the basic idea.

The programming interface instructions are on page 9-10 of the manual. There _is_ an odd typo where the * character got turned into a Greek letter when the manual was digitized.
