How to seal around dryer vent duct
I just bought a new washer and dryer and bought some aluminum duct (as I call it) from the local home improvement store. There is already a hole in the wall from the old dryer duct, so I used that. Problem is the hole in the dry wall is bigger around than the duct I am using.

I thought of using caulk to seal it but I may want to replace the duct at some point. Any suggestions how to seal the gap.

There should be a plate like this around the duct. You can make one out of metal flashing or buy one.
