Ants in rocks

I loaded a 20 gallon container with rocks that I pulled from the soil in my yard, washed them, and noticed thousands of ants and these little white things that look like tiny grains of rice that most definitely were not there before. Anyone know what this is?

Ant eggs. Seems like I remember reading at some time that the larger ones like that are the worker ants.

That's the nest you disturbed. I would not worry about them nor would I try to eliminate them. As long as they stay out side and not in come into the house your fine.
