How do I cover the seam between two fiberboard?

I'm working on a small side on my house. I am replacing the fiberboard underneath the siding. What's the best way to cover the seam between the two fiberboard? Can I use something like a dock tape?

To meet todays building code, you would cover all the fiberboard with housewrap.

Okay, so I would cover the fiberboard with the housewrap first then my siding board would go on top of that, correct?

Thank you so much.
