Need to Remove Algae from Metal Wall Panels
We have algae on the panels of our metal building. I'd like
to remove it without making a toxic mess or further damaging
the white (powder?) coating if possible.
I guess it could be moss too, but it is kind of a bright green and
on a vertical wall. It isn't thick like I'd think of moss being.
Do you have any suggestions? Is this the right forum?

We don't have a pressure washer that works but if our home remedies
doesn't look promising I'll seriously look into the TSP, I've never heard
of it before but it looks like heavy duty stuff and not terribly expensive!

TSP is a great detergent. I normally use bleach/water solution and add TSP when needed. You could use an oxalic bleach for something less toxic or more environmentally friendly. While a pressure washer makes the job easier [they can be rented] applying the cleaner, maybe scrubbing and rinsing with a garden hose will work.
