Help Identifying siding for repair job

Hi All,

I have a house built in 1995 south of Boston. There are some rotten pieces of siding that will need to be repaired/replaced but I am having a hard time trying identify it.

It looks like some sort of press board or hardboard siding. Attached are some pics of it. Any assistance with identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

That looks like masonite siding which is no longer available .... for good reason as water destroys it. I'd look around and see what you can find that looks similar.

I don't know of anything that has that much texture but Hardie has some sidings that might be close.

Nothing is going to match that exactly. Maxitile Maxiplank would likely be closer than Hardieplank, and you could give LP Smartside (Series 38 or 76) a look.
