No flashing used in re-siding

In June, we resided house using pine board+batten plus 3"azek trim around all window+doors. We wrapped house with tyvek but no flashing was replaced or inserted around sliders or windows/doors and now rain water is leaking in, especially in heavy rain. This has occurred in every one of 5 sliders and also around five windows, so clearly no flashing went in. Should we just caulk all the trim ... or remove trim and put flashng in under siding? How much damage is likely to have occurred during 6 months of pretty rainy weather in NY?

You really need flashing with board and batten. Caulk might work temporarily if you know where the water is getting in. Unfortunately water can get almost anywhere along the seams of the boards & battens especially with blowing rain so simply caulking the bottom of the boards at the top of windows might trap water making it worse.
