Installing water table moulding
My house is sided
with cedar shingles and has water table moulding comprised of wood 1x5 trim board and drip cap. The wood water table rotted in many spots and I would like to replace it with similar pvc materials. I’ve read about installing the trim board and gluing joints, etc. My question has to do with the best to install the drip cap along with the trim board. My preference would be not to remove any of the cedar shingles. I’m somewhat of a novice so some details would be helpful. Any thoughts or shared experience would be appreciated.
