Wooden chain link fence

I am thinking about building a wooden chain link fence. I have a severely sloped backyard so I think I'm going to go with the stepped style fence.

My plan is to frame two 4'x8' boxes with 1"x6" boards and then sandwich chain link fencing between the two with screws. Then cut the chain link off at the outside end of the 1"x6".

I've see similar styles with welded wire fencing but want something a little bit stronger. Does anybody see any problems with my plan?

Welcome to the forums!
How will the 'boxes' be constructed? How do you intend to install the wire? Chain link stretches more than welded fencing wire and it could be difficult to get it tight enough to prevent sagging.
